15-point Miami Heat blows lead as Dallas Mavericks tie series!!!

Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban, the owner was kept on court for 10 minutes just to appreciate the moment.

The high-fived fans Mavericks. He smiled. He said things like "Wow!" And "Wow!" Again and again his friends and himself.

As everyone on Thursday at the American Airlines Arena, Cuba was still trying to wrap your head around what happened. Unlike most others, the Cuban state of disbelief mixed with euphoria.

In the opposite extreme heat of the emotional spectrum forward Chris Bosh. When asked to explain how to conduct heat so fantastically evaporated on Thursday, ending in a loss of 95 to 93, Bosh, he simply said: "I really do not know what happened."

Well, here's what happened. The heat was blowing.

Dirk Nowitzki of Dallas, to Bosh last star turn in the final seconds of Game 2 of the NBA Finals and placed in a tray to give the Mavericks a dramatic victory. Nowitzki's heroics capped an unlikely comeback that tied the best-7 series at 1-1 and sent to Dallas with a sudden impulse for the Mavericks.

Entering the NBA Finals, it seems that nothing could overcome the madness that was the Heat's comeback in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference final. Then, last Thursday. The Heat led by 15 points with seven minutes left before the Mavericks reeled off a 17-2 run to tie the score at 90 with 57 seconds left.

Nowitzki's three-pointer gave the Mavericks a 93-90 lead with 26 seconds to go before the backup heat Mario Chalmers tied it with a triple from the corner. That paved the way for the final drive of the game Nowitzki.

"I was caught up in trying to stop the unit and that is what we wanted," Bosh said. "For a split second I played bad defense and it cost us two points."

Chalmers fell three points with 24.5 seconds left and the Mavericks timeout called by his last position. Dallas coach Rick Carlisle actually called two plays during the waiting time, knowing that the heat had a foul to give.

Heat, but never called a foul and Nowitzki Bosh of the position. Earlier in the fourth quarter, Udonis Haslem, and Joel Anthony guarded Nowitzki.

"In fact, it took me a while before I knew I had a foul to give and not lose," said Nowitzki.

, Said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra: ". We do not use the lack Obviously, it seems that now you can guess, but no."

Dwyane Wade missed a desperation 28-footer at the buzzer to win. Playing with a torn ligament in his left middle finger, Nowitzki scored 24 points in 22.10 shooting to go along with 11 rebounds.

"I played with [Larry] Bird for three years when he was the best player in the world," said Carlisle. "Guys like that do not feel pain right now."

Poor shot selection from the heat helped Dallas inch their way back into the game. The heat lost four triples in the last 90 seconds of the game, including two in a row by LeBron James with the Heat clinging to a lead of two points.

"Offensively it is very unusual for us - at the end of the game for not being able to run and move the ball and find a free throw," said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra. "Our offense was inefficient enough to cause and give them some easy baskets."

The heat forced 20 turnovers on Thursday and turnover of 31 points, set a postseason record. Miami's defense was at his manic best to start the fourth quarter. Turning, turning, blocking, stealing - the Heat held the Mavericks to one-of-9 shooting with six turnovers to start the final period.

The offensive in the fourth quarter - a 13-2 run for the Heat - Miami made a 15-point lead with 7:15 to play. Just when it seemed that the heat had a firm grip on the game and the series, Dallas responded with a 15-2 offensive of their own cutoff point of 90 to 88 with 2: 45 to play.

Heat brilliant effort to start the fourth quarter was in vain. Dallas responded with a knockout draw their own benefit.

"Defensively we had breakdowns," said Wade, who led the Heat with 36 points. "They did a lot of shots, but we had breakdowns."

James finished with 20 points and eight rebounds. Bosh scored 12 points on 4 of 16 shots. Dallas won the rebounding battle 41-30. Mavericks forward Shawn Marion scored 20 points on 9-of-14 from the field.

"We always believe we can return, no matter what the score is," said Marion. "It's a good feeling now. Come home, but here is a game."
