Most of the prime seats have been snapped up for comedian Jeff Dunham's Saturday performance at the Taylor County Coliseum, but some seating options remain.
To put the scarcity of tickets into perspective, the Expo Center's online ticket map shows 2,912 seats set up on the floor in front of the stage. As of Tuesday, six of those seats remained unsold. There were, however, several other seats available in the sections that ring the edges of the Coliseum.
Tickets for the show, which begins 8 p.m. Saturday, cost $46.50.
Dunham, who rocketed to comedy superstardom with his ventriloquism act, is listed by trade publication Pollstar as the No. 12 touring act in North America. Dunham is the only comedian on the list.
His visit to Abilene is part of his 100-city "Identity Crisis" tour. Earlier in June, Dunham filmed his latest TV special for Comedy Central, which will air in September.
Dunham also will visit Tyler on Friday and Lubbock on Sunday as part of the tour's Texas leg.
