Smile like gabrielle giffords spirit;;

Thousands of people visited social networking sites, just hours after the pictures were published. They are the first clear snapshot Giffords five months since the shooting during a meet and greet component in a Safeway parking lot in Tucson, Arizona

The photos are also an important step in a history of resistance, survival and perseverance private to the American people.

PK Weis photojournalist who took pictures of Giffords member May 17, a day after the launch of space shuttle Endeavour and just a day before she had her last surgery, said a photographer in the country would have liked to have taken the photos.

After the photos were taken by Weis, continued his remarkable recovery after his last operation, when doctors put a plastic implant to replace the piece of skull that was removed. Doctors had already removed the portion of the skull to relieve pressure on his brain, which swelled after being shot in the head.

The two photos, one deputy and the other with his mother taking in front of the hospital Memorial Hermann TIRR, reveals a determined woman who still has a gleam in his eyes, his friends said.

Relatives of Giffords said his recovery was nothing short of a miracle, even if it has a long way before him, the pictures show the public evidence of progress.

"Wow, I saw the end of March and even then, Gabby was there, his smile, his personality," published Linda Lopez, Arizona State Senator and friend of Giffords.

"And she looks even better now. I think people will be very happy to see how it looks. For anyone who has experienced what she has suffered, is really about something. I feel relieved. It is very beautiful."

Dr. Gerardo Francisco, the chief physician at Memorial Hermann TIRR, "said Giffords has" great potential for rehabilitation. "

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz said in a recent interview that she had an "excellent conversation" with Giffords Republic by telephone this week.

"She spoke in complete sentences and started a conversation instead of just reacting. We can not wait for it to come back here (in Washington)," said Wasserman.

Weis Giffords has experienced for over a decade, since before his first election to the Legislature. He said he was impressed with Giffords "remarkable progress" of their shots in January.

"It was very inspiring to see how it was recovered in four months and a half," Weis said PK photojournalist in a statement.

"I was very happy to see her and see her smile. She was happy to see me, was in good spirits, smiling and laughing and seemed to enjoy the experience. I certainly do well."

Giffords could be released from a rehabilitation hospital in Houston this month, an official said Sunday.

After that will probably be transferred to your home.

His spokesman Pia Carusone, warned that Giffords has a long way to go in his recovery.

Giffords was shot in the head in January when an assailant opened fire in a supermarket during a meeting with voters, killing six people and wounding 13 others.

She and her team organized the first "Congress on your Corner" at the end of the first week of the 112th Congress.

Giffords said she wanted to keep the "Congress on your corner" to enable residents of the 8th Congress of Arizona have one-to-one discussions on any issue, concern or problem involving the federal government.

The assassination attempt left Giffords in critical condition, the ball went straight through his brain, but doctors at the hospital have been consistent and said that his prediction was "optimistic" and that she was to attend Medical Order.

A 9-year-old was among the dead, and a U.S. marshal said a federal judge was also killed in the attack.

Giffords, 40, is a moderate Democrat who nearly won reelection in November against the candidate of the tea party that sought the office without their support the law on health care.

She is married to astronaut Mark E. Kelly, who piloted the space shuttle Endeavour and Discovery. The two met in China in 2003 while they were serving on a committee there, and they married in January 2007.

Giffords is known in the Southern District of Arizona for their many meetings of awareness, which she admitted in an interview in October that "can sometimes be difficult."

"You know, the idiots on all sides, people who come, the people of planet Earth," she said after an appearance with Admiral Mike Mullen.

For now, it was reported that Loughner Jared, the man accused in the shooting from January Giffords and others, was declared unfit to stand trial in the case.

U. S. Judge Larry Burns was based on the findings of two mental health professionals who evaluated a forensic Loughner complex federal prison in Missouri, according to media reports.

The judge ordered that Burns Loughner be tested again in four months. If, after treatment, so he is determined to be competent, the lawsuit can go forward.
